Lesson 4 of 5 - October 04, 2023
In today's lesson, I will cover that famous question: "Who's the boss?"
This might sound like a crazy question because I'm sure that in your mind you are saying, "I am the parent. Of course I'm the boss." But is that so?
Sometimes the opposite is true. Sometimes, our kids are the boss. How much control do we really have?
In the business world you always hear Ask the right questions and you'll get the right answers. The same holds true when it comes to potty training.
Say the right things and you'll get the right answers. Sometimes it is not just what you say but how you say it that makes the difference.
Now, I am not telling you to go out and flex your parental muscle. I am saying that you have to be strong in your approach. Some people would call it "tough love."
Your child needs to know that you love them and at the same time you understand what is expected of them. If you don't lay the ground rules, then who will?
You can lay down your own ground rules or you can follow my suggestions in chapter 3, page 16 of "Potty Training Made Easy, Simple & Fast." If you don't have your copy yet, then make sure you click here to get your copy today.
Establishing who's boss is harder to do the longer you wait to start potty training. Older children want to explore their own individual personalities, and listening to you is the last thing on their mind. If you follow my techniques you will learn a few strategies for dealing with this. However, you have to read the book to learn my techniques. Don't waste another minute: Order your copy now.
Remember there is only room for one boss and that has to be you.
Tomorrow's topic will be: "Regressions and How to Deal With Them."
